Many people have written about travel expeiences in Spain, but I have never seen anyone write about the magic of a pilgramage to Santiago de Compostela. Our trip was on bike and we started in Merida on the "Via de La Plata". We rode through the arid countryside of Extremadura, the hilly areas of Castilla y Leon and the Mountains of Galicia.

As our trip progressed so did our friendship and a deep understanding of ourselves. It is a hard trip and forces you to reflect on many things. We found miracles at every turn and the most mystic place I have ever been was climbing the steep mountain to O Cebreiro through the mist of the clouds. Not a soul in sight only nature.
