Up to Danmark and all the way back!

by sinequanon - last update: Oct 26, 2004

The danish are definitely very proud of their nationality. Not a single country home without a flag!
They even take it with them on camping outside their tents along with flower pots and other paraphernalia that make a tent look like the home they left behind.

But I have to admit, it is a beautiful flag!
Pepos and I saw these posts everywhere!!! Where can a dog exercise himself in Denmark??? That remained a mystery.

In the end we had to disobey the rules and run free for a while. It is our Greek blood! What can I say? But we did see a few unloyal Danish as well :-)))

Other than that dogs are absolutely no problem and are allowed everywhere provided they behave!

brave damsel saves Danish prince in distress...

I do not know what this tiny frog was doing in the swimming pool I was taking a swim early in the morning on an unusually sunny day in Hanko, Denmark. One is sure! He had no chance of surviving. Was his fall accidental or was it a suicidal attempt? Did I do well to save this little Danish prince? Who knows? If his fall was indeed accidental this was his lucky day and I hope he learnt a lesson never again to try things too big for his size!!!

PS As things turned out recently I was only following destiny's plan when I saved this Danish prince, who did not fall in the swimming pool accidentally. Someone else not far away was convincing his fiance "TO RETURN TO DENMARK ........

SO HERE WE HAVE ANOTHER HAPPY END"

kai etsi tha zisoune aftoi kala kai emeis kalitera .....;-)

Greece was great! As for tennis, I lost to a 13 year old girl on the island of Rhodes. The local players at Athens Tennis Club are also very good. I missed the flamingos, but Easter in Athens Metropolis Cathedral was just as special.

A postcard from Chicago? Hmmm, who could that have come from?

Hehe - I WAS in Cambridge when we met the last time. Left in April. Started in Lancaster in September. Off to Brussels in Feb... easy peasy :-) It would be wonderful if you came to stay - I should be there from late Jan - and there's space for you.
