I lived here when I was only eight years old, but I do remember the breathtaking landscapes, the mountains and hills plus really cool rock formations. The picture above was the view from a hill next to our house in Mayo Ine, Ngurore in what is now Adamawa State, Yola,Nigeria. (Thanks Dad for taking this shot and saving it for memories. ) I was extremely fortunate to have experienced life here at such a young age but I wish I remembered more. Hope one day I will visit here again ...

Oh, memories of our younger days. Some of my childhood pics were eaten by termites. Yikes! My cousin now works in Nigeria.
Are you an original Nigerian? Nice photos of there.
Thanks for visiting my DC pages, it's not finished yet though. I'd wear the Hope Diamond, and all the other gigantic gems on display in the museum. Wow! My eyes popped when I saw them
Wow...how was Nigeria Heidi! Was it like the Philippines? I wonder if my mom would love to go here...
Hi Heidi, you was really fortunate to have lived in Nigeria at such a young age and have your lovely memories.
too bad that you didn't get a photo of that baboon eating the soap :)
