Provincial Capital: City of Iba
The Province of Zambales lies in the western shores of Luzon island between the Zambales mountains and the South China Sea. Mt.Pinatubo, the volcano that erupted in 1991 is located here. The province's coastline is famed for it's sandy beaches and deep blue sea blessed with abundant coral reefs. Named after the original inhabitants, the Sambalis who lived in the coastal plains and interior highlands of the province. This part of the country is also well-known for their sweet and plump mangoes.

Oh..I also love mangoes! Only thing is..if you eat too much of them, you might get diarrhea! (It happened to me!) I didn't know Zambales was the capital of mangoes!
Thanks Heidi , I hope to visit the Philippines next year as well. Everything seems to be on track so we`ll see what next year brings.
Sana next time na trip mo magkasama tayo. We have a small house in Palauig, about 10-15mins walk to the beach.
