"One of college basketball's most famous and recognizable buildings, University Arena is the home of New Mexico men's and women's basketball". The University of New Mexico Lobos and Lady Lobos basketball teams play here. "The Pit" is also used for other events throughout the year.

There is lots of skiing and snowboarding on the mountain during winter. SKI SEASON: Mid-December through mid-March. HOURS OF OPERATION: 9am to 4pm. December 19 - January 4: Open Daily January 7 - March 14: Wednesdays thru Sundays & Holidays
