Ocala is a booming North Central Florida city best known for the miles of well kept horse farms that surround it -- not to mention its attractive neighbor, Silver Springs, one of Florida's oldest natural attractions.

Heading south into town off the main drag you'll notice that horse farms abound, complete with acres of green grass partitioned by white fences. Once in town, visitors will find a historic downtown district, cultural attractions, new housing developments, strip malls and all the characteristics of a booming regional hub city.

Just a couple miles away, Silver Springs is one of Florida's original natural attractions. Centered around the crystal clear natural springs that give it the park its name, Silver Springs features a variety of animal attractions including a Jeep safari and its famous glass-bottom boat tours. A water park is located next door to the park.
