Jurmala, about 20 kilometer from Riga, is a summer beach resort along the Gulf of Riga, part of the Baltic Sea. The long, sandy beaches are packed with people on warm summer days, but come September and the onslaught of winter, things close up pretty tightly.
We travel to Jurmala everyday because the International School of Latvia is located here. |
