|  | We had prebooked a nine day tour before we arrived in Kenya from Niger. One and a half days were spent in Masai Mara. After the week was over, we decided that if we ever did a safari again, it would be at one of those lodges inside the parks, for three or four days only. That would do away with all the driving from one park to another, and save more time for actually viewing the animals |
The Masai is a large area, but can seem crowded, especially when one minivan spots a lion. You can always tell when there is something "good" to see, and how "good" it is by the number of minivans crowded around. This was a fairly good one. A pride of lions with fresh kill AND babies. | | |

Masai Mara GR is the best one that I visited in Kenya. |
