Lake Naivasha Travel Guide: 82 reviews and 256 photos
After a long drive from Masai Mara, out driver and guide deposit us in a dreary little clutch of bungalows near Lake Naivasha. We had no water for showers, and our meals were getting skimpier. Our mosquito-infested lodging was making even the most optimistic of us start to grumble. But the next morning as we got into our boat for a trip around the lake, all of that subsided. There is a tremendous amount of wildlife to be found in and around Lake Naivasha. We were careful to steer clear of the hippoes near Crescent Island. We saw and with Mark's help identified at least twenty different bird species, the most spectacular being the crowned crane.
