"Mes etudes en Francais" Saint-Pierre by Newfunlander

I went on a short 3 day trip to St. Pierre in 1998. Being 18, this was my first trip by myself, and I admit that may have been a key factor in the experience I had. I thought the island was nice, but there was a limited amount of things to do. After taking a tour of the bakery, visiting the graveyard, attended a mass in French, and went to a car show, I was left a little bored. The discotheque is very impressive for the island, and I believe it's toted as being the largest one East of Montreal (in comparison to Canadian ones). I want to go back, now that I've matured and become better travelled, especially to compare the cultures to Newfoundland and to that of continental France.
