    • Sorry guys but I have no pictures of Halifax. Its a nice town, and can get very foggy at any time of the day. To me this added to the ambience of the town. I didn't do much here just walked around the town and chilled out. There are a few nice pubs and cafes. When I was there a guy was shot dead(honestly) but apart from that I liked Halifax. Ita a good base for travelling around Nova Scotia, whether north or south.

    • Not far from Halifax but its a lovely village. The lighthouse doubles up as a post office and has lovely views into the sea. Luckily when I was getting there the fog was just starting to go and the sun came out. Some of the hostels in Halifax organise tours of Peggys cove and beyond but its cheaper if you get a couple of people together and hire out a car. Plus you have the freedom of coming back whenever you want. From here I passed through towns such as Mahone bay, lunenburg until I reached Liverpool. The drive down is a nice drive with nice towns along the way. When I reached Liverpool I crossed through the Kajimkujik national park. This park is full of rivers and lakes and it was nice but a bit eerie. Crossed through the Annapolis Royal until I reached Digby.

    • If anyone goes to Nova Scotia make sure you go to Brier Island. This place is amazing, it reminds me so much of some fishing villages from back home. It is a bit out of the way, and its only accessible by car ferries. When on Brier there is an abundance of whales. Well I suppose it depends on when you go there. I was there in May and I could see lots of Whales. The good thing is that you don't have to pay cash to see them, from land you can watch them swim pass. I'm not sure what type of accomodation is available on the island but when I got there most things were closed so I ended up kipping in the car. Not the most comfortable place in the world but it saves a bit of cash.

    • This makes for a nice drive. Lots of small rivers and lakes. Only took a couple of hours to pass through. I'm not sure if it is worth staying here but you may want to look into it.

    • 2 relatively small towns but really nice places. Its definatly worth taking a look at Paddy's pub and brewery. Nice beer nd friendly locals. Highly recommended!
