  • Climbed the stairs to the second level for 3e on the first day. Even at the second level you can see all of Paris. If you do walk up be prepared. It's not for the faint of heart. At only 3e it's a cheap way to see the whole of Paris.

If you can wait though, you should really see it at night. We paid the fare to get to the top on a clear night. Worth every penny! I can't imagine the crowds on a June night. But, on that chilly October night there was still a long wait. Again, worth every minute.
Here's a tip- Bring someone you can hold on tight too, and enjoy the view.

  • This place is huge. You really should have a plan before you go in. The biggies are always mobbed. Plan on standing no closer than 10ft from Mona. We spent 5 hours inside and it wasn't nearly enough time. It's just too big tho. After walking a couple miles of art you'll need another coffee or two.

The building itself is worth the price of admission. It's many different rooms make it seem as though you are in different museums. Be sure to check out the large Italian paintings (before you get tired of waiting to see mona).

  • In my opinion, better than the Lourve. Maybe since it's more than managable in a short day. It's really all about the amazing old train station it's housed in. A piece of art itself.

Off the main room there are small rooms arranged by period. Finding your way around is a breeze. And the open space makes if feel less like a museum and more like an open air concert venue. I highly recomend this museum.
