Well, I guess you definitelly know that Syria has a great history and culture and if you even do not know much about it, it's so easy to get to know that by internet or books etc. So, I prefer to tell you about my own experiance guys, than to put here some "dry" data about the country. About my experiance and the stories I had there I'll put on my different pages (Damascus, Aleppo, Hama, Palmyra ect. pages)...

right now I just tell you briefly where I traveled and when:

I went to Aleppo first. spend there two days. then took bus directly to Damascus. I spend 3 days in Damas. After that went to Hama. from Hama I made daytrip to Krak, and next day I went to Palmyra via desert.
I spent one day and a night in Palmyra, in the morning I had camel riding and after having breakfast I went back to Damas.
From Damas I visited Deir Mar Musa monastery, where I stayed one night and next evening went back in Damas.
I left Damascus in 28th of December. First I wanted to go to Aleppo and spend one day there before crossing the border. But after I changed my mind and took direct bus from Damas to Ankara.
the point was that my Syria visa was ending.. and also I wanted to go back in Geo till 2006 :)
Anyway, I managed that... I arrived in Tbilisi (my homecity) at 22 pm of 31.12.05.
