I payed 300 SP (6 USD approx.) for double room with bathroom, where I stayed alone. it's a nice place in old house. it's clean, I had good heating in the room (in December).
area, where the hostel is situated is called Al Faraj.
my friend gave me the address of the hostel. Also, he told me that there is some other "Spring Flower" in the same area and that this one is better and that I have to look for the Usama Akkad's "Spring Flower". I mean that the name of the owner of the hostel is Usama Akkad :)
well, maybe this information will help you to find the place and not to mix it with another hostel with the same name.
anyway, the place is good. ppl there are helpful. internet there is avalable for 100 SP per hour (which is actually bit expensive.. but still..)
the place is near to Aleppo National Museum (few steps only) and also you near to Citadel of Aleppo (10-15 minutes walk or something).. also it's near to Karnak Station.

Unique Qualities: not shared bathroom!
