China-a good place to travel!

I am from china,now live in antwerp,belgium.i have travel a lot of places in china.it is really a good place to travel.anyone who want to travel china,i can help you and give you some suggestions!

My dream!

i have a dream when i was a little child, travell around the world.now i am touching my dream.i came to Europe.there are three places that i want to go in my life,one is Tibet in china,one is Sahara in Africa,and the last one is Jerusalem.Hope I can share my joys with you!

Eastern countries campares with west!

The eastern countries have far different cultures with western countries.Because of my limited English,i cannot tell exactly all the differences.I just try my best to introduce some eastern cultures to you!For some of western people, eastern countries mean mystery.Now,welcome to the mysterious world!

Language!

Take Chinese,Japanese for examles,most eastern language we call characters,but in western countries,we call letters.Some of my friends who studied Chinese in China told me that every chinese character was a picture.they do not write the Chinese,but draw it.And every character is independent, few relationships between two characters.So for some english-spoken people,it is too difficult to remember.From my personal point of view, the eastern culture is as complex as the language!

Dumpling!

Dumpling is traditional food in China,especially in north of China.In some festival, we eat dumpling.You can put everything in it if you can!Usually,we put meat,some vegetable.Sometimes we put a coin in it, the person who eat the special dumpling, is the luck man!
I have put some pictures about making dumpling in my china album,so these pictures help u know more about dumpling!

be careful about YES and NO

In China,when a Chinese say yes or no,you should be careful.Because of the different logic.For example,when a foreigner ask "haven't you finished your dinner?".Nomally, Chinese will answer"yes,i haven't finished my dinner".In Chinese,we are use to affirm the person who ask the question.In the example above,we Chinese mean you are right,I have not finished my dinner.So such answer will usually be confused.Once you visite China and talk with Chinese people in English, be careful about Yes and No.
