The old part of town is a residential area around the castle. The old houses, all under preservation order and the narrow streets leading to them are a delight to explore: there are some classic examples of Mugla architecture on display. Get lost! ;)

Whenever I want to stress out go for some walk by the seaside... Between Marmaris and Icmeler which takes about 8 kms... Even you can stop by the cafes drink your coffee or ice cold beer... like to swim?... 5 steps away along the way. ;) ...through the evening or in the middle of the night next to the spectacular view of islands among the pine trees and enjoying the cool sea breeze!.... In night time could be romantic and sexy some parts of this way!... ;)
