Off The Beaten Path: The Peaceful Little Venice
  • Tip Rating:
  • Little Venice should be a mysterious place, at least it is mysterious to most locals. All my Londoner friends haven't heard of this place. If it's not off the beathen path, where else can be?

Little Venice is actually a canal leading to other canals within the city. In summer, there are lots of canal tours for tourists. In winter, you can see the silent calm canal as shown in the picture. It was so peaceful.

    How to Get There?

Take the Tube to Warwick Avenue and follow the instruction sign inside the station, it's a 5-min walk from the tube.

Booths advertise half-price tickets but don't deliver anything like that level of discount. The booth in the Crest of London store charged us 25 pounds for 13.50 face-value tickets. When we complained, we got a refund but the operator abused us at length.

Interesting street lamps travelogue. I just come back from my 3rd trip to London. Always something new to discover as the Little Venice this time, thanks for your tip. Congratulations to be part of the Official VT guide.
