Gelateria Bella Donna: The best gelati in the city

The shop not only looks cool, its gelati is excellent. Having tried gelati from so many shops in Brissy (in the city, Rosalie, Brunswick Street (Valley & New Farm) and Redcliffe), I finally could give a WOW to a gelati. What a regret to have overlooked this lovely shop!

Luckily, nothing's too late.

Favorite Dish: I ordered a medium cup of 3 flavours, after a round of tasting, I decided to pick Apple Pie, Banana-honey-cinnamon and Mocha.

You gotta taste them yourself to understand my feeling - simply SUPER THUMBS UP!!!

Trang's Chinese and Vietnamese Restaurant: Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine

There are a few nice Vietnamese restaurants in Brisbane. Having tried that one in Sunny Bank and the other in China Town, I headed to West End to hunt for another bowl of Pho.

The beef noodle soup was yummy though the one in Sunny Bank is still unbeatable. However, the side dish - rice roll with prawns and vermichelli was just excellent, a definitely must try!

Favorite Dish: Rice-rolls with prawns + iced milk coffee~~

It looks basic but tastes so good. - Brisbane

It looks basic but tastes so good.

Hing Kee (as in Chinese) Vietnamese Restaurant: The best Pho!

Simple but delicious.
Huge portion but inexpensive.
Highly recommended!

According to my friend, who interviewed (wow!) some of her Vietnamese friends, the Pho here is really traditional and genuine in taste. What can you say?

Favorite Dish: Definitely the Beef Noodle Soup is the must-try! It comes along with a plate of fresh lemon slices, chili pieces, herbs and bean spouts, so Vietnamese!

As for drink, take an iced Vietnamese Coffee with milk. It's condensed milk and the whole mix matches so well that you just wanna order one more!

Address: Market Square Shopping Centre, Sunny Bank

Comparison: less expensive than average

Directions: It's a small shop at one corner of the square.

Price: less than US$10

Mocha - Iced & Hot. - Brisbane

Mocha - Iced & Hot.

Sugar 'n' Spice: Nice coffee

My friends highly recommended this cafe to me. Once we were walking in the city and we saw a Sugar n Spice on the opposite side of the street, one of my friends just said 'let's have a coffee' and immediately ran across the street, without checking if any cars were coming or taking the hand of his gf. Can't you feel the charm of the cafe?

The branch we visited was a quiet one and we were the only customers. There was a book corner with some novels and LONELY PLANETS. The overall environment was very good : ) The most important thing was, my Mocha was excellent!

Favorite Dish: Iced Mocha!!!

The amount of milk was just right. You can see the colour of coffee yet you can feel the smoothness of the milk. The smell of coffee remained in my mouth for the whole afternoon.

When will this brand come to HK?
