Beaches, beaches and beaches... If you wanna get away from the crowds of tourists while kissing with the sun on white fine sand, the Sunshine Coast will the place for you.
The Sunshine Coast (or the Sunny) is situated in the north of Brisbane. Depending on which part of the coast you're visiting and which part of Brisbane you're from, normally you'll need about 1.5-3 hours to drive up there.
Probably it's less easily accessible than the Goldie (Gold Coast), there are not many tourists here. At least the Esplanade along King's Beach and Bulcock Beach was always free from traffic jam during my visit.
The beaches are equipped with showers (both outdoor and indoor) which definitely increase their attractiveness to the beach lovers.
So next time when you're planning your day-trip out of Brissie, remember to head NORTH. Sunshine Coast is the place you can't miss out! |
