It's a fascinating city of Mix and Match!

My second trip to Bangkok :
14-17 March 2003

Bangkok is a lovely city with two faces. There are lots of traditional temples and houses. At the same time, modern tall buildings can be found scattering at different corners of the city.

Which face of Bangkok you like more?
The steepest staircase in Bangkok?!

Our trip...

Unlike our usual trips, we bought a package including the air tic and 3 nights of hotel accomodation for this trip. As a bonus, we joined a free guided tour to Wat Arun + a free boat trip on Chao Praya River and we got an hour free body massage at Grand Spa.
Tall buildings along the river bank.

Besides...

The free stuffs just took us 0.5 day and we just hanged around freely in the remaining 3 days of our stay. We spent quite a lot of time inside shopping centres as it's really hot! However, the only place I think was good for shopping was Chatuchat Weekend Market. Apart from shopping, we also tried local Thai food... the tastes were really different from those in Hong Kong. Anyway, we enjoyed a lot.

One of my all time favourite places. But I've not been as adventurous as you with the food. I kept away from the insects. Nice page and nice pics.
