Set on the shores of a proclaimed RAMSAR site this hotel has almost everyhing one can ask for. The food is great, rooms all have spectacular views over the lagoon where thousands of flamingos, pelicans and other wading birds wake you in the morning. This sight must rate as one of the most breathtaking I have seen anywhere.
My only gripe is the rather slack service offered by the housekeeping staff.
Unique Qualities: The hotel is relatively new, having been opened a few years ago by the then President of Namibia, Sam Nujoma.
As mentioed earlier, it has a prime location on the shores of a proclaimed RAMSAR site
