If you are visiting Presque Isle peninsula stop in and have a look around the environmental center that is just before the drive into the state park. The exhibits are fairly well done, I leaned a couple of things while there. There are films show daily the subject change from time to time. Also loads of interactive things to occupy children. If you didn't know Tom Ridge was Governor of Pennsylvania. Admission is free although there is a charge to watch the films.
