I have only been to the Frankfurt Airport. The first time I was there, I was a hysterical mess after finding out that my luggage was lost and the second time I was there I was a hysterical mess because I didn't want to leave Germany. Either way, I guess I don't have the fondest memories of that place, but I did buy a bag of Gummi Bears that kept me happy on the plane.
As far as Airports go, this one is pretty nice. It's huge with lots of overpriced stores to keep bored travellers entertained and there is also a trainstation attached to the airport.

Give Frankfurt another try sometime, not only the airport. There are good things going on here, especially for musicians.
