Wow! Chicago was absolutely fabulous dahling. It defintely didn't hurt that I had one of my best friends, Dylan, as a tour guide, but this city just kicks a**
Ok, so I'm a country bumpkin and all big cities really impress me, but I've been to San Francisco, Vienna, Seattle, and LA, and there's just something about Chicago that I really loved.
So, we did just about everything you can do in Chicago in five days...Lincoln Park Zoo, Second City Theater, The Art Institute, The Hancock Center, the Cubbies, Chicago Symphony, and Whirlyball! (if you have no idea what that is, you'll just have to check out my whirlyball tip.) |

Marisola Mon Feb 20, 2006 19:40 UTC Are you at NW now? How do you like it? I took a class there a few years ago. I love that campus! | Tourtech Sun Aug 29, 2004 00:39 UTC Chicago has some of the greatest architechure and stonework in NA. My friend owns a bar there. If you go back, Check out SmallBar. Say hi to Fuji. Great place, cheap drinks, modern groove jazz music and the youngest bar owner in chicago. Safe travels. | rwlittle Sat Jul 10, 2004 17:23 UTC I was in Chicago with the SO last weekend, a great place! Evanston is nice too, good luck with your Northwestern aspirations... | Burtty Fri May 28, 2004 09:27 UTC My wife had the same favorite painting as you in Art Institute. When we visit there in 1997, the special exhibition was the lovely doll house. |
