Lago di Garda

This place is beautiful! We took a little day trip to Lago di Garda from Verona. And although Emmanuelle and I were not speaking during the trip, it was still a nice escape from the city. As you can see from the picture, the water is a gorgeous Carribean Sea blue and it's surrounded by mountains. It's also just a short train ride (20 min) from Verona.

I addition to swimming and sunbathing you can windsurf, boat, waterski, and hike around the lake.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Close to Verona, so it's an easy day trip
Cons:Bring your own water because it's very expensive there
In a nutshell:If you're in the area, it's a must
