What is there to say about New York City really. It is everything that you have heard and so much more. I have had the honor and pleasure of growing up in & around this city and have had the joy of seeing it's many faces and facets throughout the course of my life. Whether it was ice skating in Rockefeller Center as a young child for my birthday, seeing my first concert at Madison Square Garden, a symphony at Carnegie Hall dressed up like a grown-up for the first time or buying my first funky jewelry in the west village when I snuck on to the train as a teenager...I have taken this city for granted for many years and now as an adult am beginning to appreciate it for what it is. A city of magic and energy, where anything can happen and your days and your nights take on a life of their own. I am looking at this city now through the eyes of a tourist and it is spectacular. Now I know what you have all been talking about! |
