St. John: under construction I read somewhere that St. John is the island where tourists, locals and "transplants" co-exist more peacefully than anywhere else in the world. My first night on this island I encountered and chatted with a relocated dentist, a local house painter, a local taxi driver and a waitress...all different ages, colors, accents and reasons for being there but co-existing very well together. |
