Hidden Buenos Aires

buenos aires
Is it the tango atmosphere? Is it the people? Is it the history? Or just a bit of everything? What makes Buenos Aires so charming and magic?

Buenos Aires has a strange but rich past. Its mixture of Italian and Spanish backgrounds shows everywhere. B.A. was built on hopes and dreams by those immigrants who believed in the promised land. A land that would take them away from the devastating war.

Nostalgic, seductive, romantic, it invites you from the inside, from the hidden aspects of everyday life.

People chatting in cafes are trying to arrange the world while the tunes of a tango tell them that destiny is already set up. Streets and buildings disguise the Creole soul with French-European reminiscences.
Football, mate, rock&roll, bolero are common law everywhere.

Discover this passionate Hidden Buenos Aires through these pages and have a taste of this magnificent bohemian city.

Charming city

I think the best way to know a city is by walking it. Buenos Aires (as the name says) has "good airs" to let you walk and and enjoy a nice trip (summertime most recommended)
I just want to capture your attention with some pictures.
Enjoy the visual trip.

Art Nouveau

Many people still say that Buenos Aires is the "Paris" of South America. It is not completely wrong although unfortunately local people have lost respect for the city. It is very hard to maintain a glamorous city when people are hungry and unemployed. But anyway, Buenos Aires has still those treasures from the turn of the century (20th)
Keep and eye on architecture while you walk the city. You won't believe how many hidden treasures there are like this one in the picture. And also take a look at old doors. They are everywhere and they don´t build doors like that anymore so sometimes people by in auctions old doors, walls and floors from old houses that have been demolished.
