Ichabods: Beachside People Watching...and Drinking

This is an old beachside stronghold...I used to love hitting this place around 11:00 or 12:00 (midnight) for some great people watching...but now I'm an old fart and rarely go out anymore.

They serve up some great veggie burgers and they'll serve wings OR mahi mahi sandwiches into the wee hours....inside AND outside on the patio deck.

...if you don't mind a loud juke box and watching the hysterical antics of the local patrons, then belly up to the bar because you never know what (or who) will go down at Ichabods...

City Tropics Bistro: Beach and Sushi

Whether you opt for inside dining or patio drinking, City Tropics is where you'll find some semblance of nightlife in Melbourne, including a dj spinning music (turns into a dance club at 11:30 pm on weekends).

People from all walks of Melbourne life can be found socializing here.

I don't recommend the place for dining purposes, but it's fun to grab a drink or some sushi and, if you feel inspired, some dancing later on as the evening wears....
