Restaurant Name: Pierre's Restaurant
I probably would
not have come here if it weren't for the fact that my friend rented it out for her beautiful wedding.
Pierre's isn't your traditional "Keys" type eatery; that is, it's a refined, haute-cuisine atmosphere imbued with colonial charm and a touch of elegant Caribbean, amidst a picture-perfect setting (and an astronomical price tag that no doubt accompanies the gastronomical delights!)...no wonder weddings take place on the premises.
All things considered, I
would highly recommend Pierre's if you are commemorating something special or celebrating a milestone event...or, if you're just in the mood for a refined atmosphere and candlelight romance.
Note: the sunsets here are sublime.
Favorite Dish: I ordered snapper almondine, and started out with a gorgeous salad that included sweet pear slices and warm goat cheese.
The "piece de resistance" however, was the desert. I ordered the "Chocolate Bomb" which was a small, souflé type chocolate cake that oozed a rich chocolate pudding filling (not overpoweringly so...just enough in the middle to make every mouthful a moist explosion of decadence).
To wit, I didn't even mind not having any wedding cake afterwards, having satisfied my sweet tooth with aforementioned confectionary delight.
