I spent a lot of time researching this trip. I used Virtual Tourist, Lonely Planet, videos, and the internet as resources. David and I went in October of 2002, and it was fantastic. We spent approximately two weeks in Nepal and approximately one week in Tibet (crossing the Plateau in a Toyota LandCruiser).
