Recently Moved Here

I moved here about two years ago from the Atlanta, Georgia area. I moved when they moved my department. It is a different experience.

Lexington would, from my point of view, be considered a suberb of Columbia, The State Capital. I have gotten the feeling from long time residents that they do not consider this to be the case.

I guess you could say this is a transitional area. There a big military and College influence from the schools and bases nearby. All of which blends with the remnants of when the area was rural.

I found it interesting that there is a feed store between my apartment and the place I like to go for coffee.
