    • We did much walking as is the custom. My friends did not own a car so much of our sightseeing was done on foot power. I was a guest there for six weeks so came home slim and trim.

    • One of the things we did alot was go to the Kaserne. It no longer exists. I t has been closed for some time now. Back then, during my visit it was my closest connection to the USA where I could go and get something american....magazine, food. It was along walk from my friends house to the Kaserne but we had fun. I kept this as a souvenier.
