    Getting TO/AROUND: Fresno is a stopover of the Amtrak San Joaquin trains which services Central California. Their route connects Bakersfield and Oakland. Stops along the way include Merced, Modesto, and Stockton.

    Since my trip started in Los Angeles, I had to take the Amtrak bus at L.A. Union Station to Bakersfield. In Bakersfield, I took the San Joaquin train to Fresno.

    The train station in Fresno is in the downtown area. It's within walking distance to many attractions like the Meux Home, the Water Tower, the Legion of Valor Museum, the Fulton Mall, and the Fresno Metropolitan Museum.
