I was born just outside London, so strictly speaking am not really a Londoner... however, most of my teen years were spent having fun on the town, the West End mostly. We called them Discos in those days and I used to go to Stringfellows to hob and nob with supposedly famous. No one knew who the hell I was, which helped a bit in avoiding the paparazzi.... (I wish).

London is too big to cover in one page, highlights for me are The Crown Jewels, Tower of London, Buck House, Regent's Park and Zoo, never been to the Milennium Dome, or up the Eye which is probably just as well......

I love the underground, the buzzy excited feel you get on the streets, riding in black taxi cabs, spending the day seeing things from the tops of the red double decker buses, shopping in Oxford Street and Harrods, Soho at night, and of course in my heyday, Carnaby Street........
