A few years ago i came to dubai for a short trip ,ten years later i'm still here and still like this place ,now i'm working with the local airline and i get the opportunity to travel frequently and meet people around the world, our airline is so successful that we had to sit inside the engines since all seats were sold out ,when travelling in a window seat you can catch a glimpse of the cabin crew trying to hold on!!!! hahahha |
| | On my way to work!!! welcome to my page ,please feel free to use any pictures , everyone has to go to work at some stage ....i was very lucky on this day because it was so clear and i took some lovely photos over the snow peaked mountains before we crossed over to china |
Desert safari got stuck in the dunes and had to be towed out by other cars in the convoy ,the desert safary is a must for anyone visiting dubai during the cool months
| | camel farm dubai is the city of contrasts the background is a desert setting ,but the city is extremely modern ,and it has the only seven star hotel inthe world (BURJ AL ARAB),a major tourist activity is the deser safari ,it includes a ride through the dunes ,dinner ,belly dancing ,camel rides...hubly bubly |
hubly bubly a traditional setting in the desert safari camp ,quite well organised since dubai has a hot desert climate in summer with tempratures reaching an avarage of 42c ,outdoor activities are best from november till april, where tempratures are a pleasant 24c and very low humidity
| | watching the sunset dubai is not the place for budget travellers ,lodging can be expensive and a 3 day trip could cost quite a bit depending on the activities ,a 4 star hotel will start at 80 us and avarage daily expence, about 70 to 80 us dubai is very safe and organised , shopping is exellent here because of the low taxation policy ,they also hold a shopping festival every year with a dedicated area called global village ,it is a nice experience, because you'll feel that you have visited 20 countries in one place ,it is defenetly worth it |
