Madrid - la cuidad que nunca duerme

by tyerks - last update: Oct 19, 2003

We all know that New York City is the city that never sleeps, but in reality, I think that applies more to Madrid. With an afternoon siesta, the people of Madrid are raring to go all night. It starts off with snacks between 7 and 10, called tapas. At 10, dinner starts, but the restaurants really start filling up later. Then, they dance the night away. I think I could live like that!

Thanks for your truthful narrative on that bullfight! I too had my heart set on seeing one, I'm sure I *would* be sickened, but I still have it on my list. The sangria and tapas and Prado though, you got those right!!
