Over the last decade or so, Seattle has developed into a very interesting and cosmopolitan city. You can chalk it up to an influx of Microsoft money, but Seattle has become a really extraordinary place, filled with new and memorable architecture. These new developments include Safeco Field (home of the Seattle Mariners) and Seahawks Stadium (home of the Seattle Seahawks). This is now a city filled with great things to see and do, and the people are as friendly as ever. The only drawback to spending some time in Seattle? All that rain! Be sure to bring your umbrulla.
When you arrive in Seattle, you'll be struck by several things right away. The trees are so tall and so impressive! The water is so blue and so beautiful! And Mount Rainier, that gorgeous, snow-capped peak, looms over the city from almost any vantage point. This city is truly blessed with natural beauty. Its residents are also some of the nicest people you'll meet. Seattle is definitely a city worth visiting. |
