Hi there londons a bit confusing at first until you work out the tube which is very well organized and you dont have to wait long for a train anywhere i was impressed at the efficiency of it all.I found london on a whole abit expensive hostel type accomadation was costing me about 20pounds a night with breakfast which is probably cheap for there but was working out about 60$ australian at the time , then if you like a beer which there are many great varieties often made especailly for particular pubs well i was paying around 12$australian at times for a pint of guiness can be quite expensive to get sloshed, great sights recomend the open bus tours, a cruise up the thames river was kool with commentry ,if you want to work get a visa first...
- In a nutshell:A good meeting place for people awsome architecture and functional for backpackers .

I'd like to pay a visit to London some day...
Glad you enjoyed London. I was born there (Im not a cockney) and think its a great place to visit, wouldnt fancy living there though. Cheers.
I enjoyed your thoughts on London. It is a beautiful but expensive city. My experience with the Tube was not as positive as yours. I thought it was not completely reliable. But still a great way to get around the city.
I was also amazed at the efficiency of the Tube. When I said this to Londoners, they couldn't believe it. They say the service is terrible!
