Kimberley is a lovely little town in the Northen Cape Province of South Africa.
I spent about 8 months in Kimberley during my military service in 1991. Unfortunately did not get out of the camp too much to socialise, but I found it to be a pretty town, with friendly people there.
What Kimberley is really well known for is its diamond mine and the related "Big Hole" which I will explain in more detail soon. |
