Mid-Autumn Festival

by tuff - last update: Jan 31, 2008

Mig-Autumn Festival

The mid-autumn festival was in full swing in mid-August of the lunar calendar on both sides of the harbor. Families get together beneath the harvest moon, lighting lanterns and enjoy the festive goodies. These are some of the decorated lanterns.

Yes, I am still in Hong Kong

Aside from the neon signs of the metropolitan area, you can also find places like this beach somewhere near Sai Kung.

One can never get tired of this

A stroll through the waterfront is a must on the list for all tourists, especially in the evening.
