Getting TO/AROUND: I didn't see it in other countries I visited.
So it was quite a surprise for me and a must to have a ride in one of them.

I call it "funny", because in Russian tuk-tuk means "knocking on the door", so the name sounds funny...

It's cheaper than taxi and not uncomfortable. Just beware, that many of the tuk-tuk drivers will try to get you to restaurants and souvenir shops before they take you to the place you wanted to get to.

Sometimes though it can be fun, the driver can drive you around in his tuk-tuk for a very reasonable price.

Tuk-tuks are available not only in Bangkok, but, I guess, anywhere in Thailand (in Phuket, for sure).
