This is a small temple with a large statue of Buddha. The guide said it weighs 5 tons. Looks impressive!

This is an amazing place, very beautiful. I could walk there for hours. I wanted to see every detail of it, and all of it together. I've never seen anything like this in my life! The Temple of the Emerald Buddha is a must. Mind, that you have to wear decent clothes when going to the Grand Palace. No shorts allowed, only long pants or long skirts. No slippers allowed, wear proper shoes.

The place claims to be "the World's Tallest Hotel", and from what I've seen, maybe it is. When traveling, it is always good to find a view point to see a panoramic view of a city or region. In Bangkok this place is the Bayoke Sky Hotel. You can have a nice dinner on the 76th or 78th floor and then go up to the open rotating area almost on the roof and have a look at the huge city!

I didn't expect this! The statue was huge! And the temple and it's surroundings - very, very beautiful! You can exchange 20 baht and then walk along the statue putting the coins in special bowls and make a wish. Highly recommended for visiting!
