It was my best Phuket experience!!!

You'll take canoe rides through caves to lagoons inside the islands. This is really amazing! I felt as if I was in a lost world, as if a pterodactyl was going to show from beyond a rock! You'll hear monkey and bird cries, you'll see the wildlife of the islands, bats on the cave ceiling, plankton shimmering in the dark water of the night sea!

You'll have your own Loy Krathong festival and the guides will teach you how to make your own Krathongs (wreaths made of banana leaves and layers of banana tree trunk), which you will put on the water in the lagoon at night... Very romantic!

I've never seen it before, and I was so amazed, that I saw the whole show through the lense of my camera, because I wanted to shoot every moment of it. The guy is not afraid of snakes at all!

And the snakes are real beauties!!!

I must confess, it was a bit scary, but I love elephants, they are so big, yet graceful!

We took a short, but unforgettable ride in a rubber tree grove.

Directions: There are elephant trekking places all around Thailand, just select the closest one to your hotel, or the one, that seems most interesting to you - like trekking in deep jungle...

It takes about an hour by speedboat to get there.
There are some good places for snorkeling and the views are great.
I expected the place to be a bit wilder though... I'm afraid it will soon be spoilt by mass tourism.

If you go by speedboat, take some dry clothes with you, because if the sea is stormy, you'll get wet.

Well, it was fun, but, I guess, too expensive. We paid $60 each of us, and we were three people on the boat. The captain provided the bait (pieces of mackerel) and fishing-lines with sinkers and hooks.

Warning: our guide promised us we would catch a tuna at least. In fact all we caught were a dozen of redfish and a fish that looked like a snake (the captain went pale at the sight it and kicked it out of the boat back into the water. By the way, this beast bit off half of the hook!!!).

The sea was quite stormy, we got wet and cut our fingers with the fishing line.

But on the whole it was fun. If you find it cheaper, try it.

We took some fish with us to the hotel, and the hotel restaurant cooked it for us for just 150 baht.
