I've been to some warm countries before, I've been to islands before, but Phuket is different from anything I've seen before. You may like it or not, but you have to admit that it's different.
It's full of contrasts: you can see a beach crowded with people, and just beyond a rock there is a completely deserted beach.

I enjoyed my trips to islands, my elephant ride, walks on beaches, my bicycle ride to the jungle, which nearly killed me, as I chose the hottest time of the day. :-)) There's a lot to do and to see, just chose what you want, and it will be there for you.

Phuket and surrounding islands are rich with animals and plants, magnificent views. Please try to keep it clean, so that those who come after you could also enjoy it.

I've never seen the Beach movie, but I've read the book, and I fully understood the book after I've been to Phuket and the Phi-Phi islands.

We are all looking for this beach. I wish you good luck, go and find it, and for each of you it will be a different, your own beach with your private sunset.
