"Berlin - the Developing City" Berlin by tashka

Berlin was not at all the way I expected it to be.
I mean, I've been to many capitals of the world, but unlike any capital of the world Berlin looks young. This is a city under construction. I would like to go there again in a couple of years to see the changes, the way the city is developing. And then in a couple of more years... And so on.
I believe, the city will become the real center of Europe. The city is very democratic, very open, multinational and friendly.
Berlin is very convenient, It's easy to find your way, it's easy to use the transport, it's nice to shop, everything is very thought-out.
This is a city for people to live in, to visit and to enjoy themselves, in other words, Berlin is people-friendly with friendly people living there!
And though one can still see difference between the western and eastern parts of Berlin, it will be overcome, and soon.
I enjoyed walking the pre-Christmas streets of Berlin, brightly decorated and full of merry people. Despite the rain the streets were crowded with Berliners and tourists shopping, walking round Christmas fairs, drinking mulled wine. I followed suit. You know, I don?t like museums much. Finally, after all thought about history, I decided not to dwell on the past, but just be happy in this developing city, and I drank mulled wine to the prosperity of Berlin and it's citizens!
- Pros:It's the true European capital of the future!
- Cons:Still under construction (which can be a pro too!)
- In a nutshell:Go and see it!
