Silent city which wasn't silent at all

Te walled city of Mdina is the ancient capital of Malta. Mdina - the Arabic word for "city". It is also known as the 'Silent City'. Although when we were there it didn't look like a silent city at all: some cars passing and making a big noise, many tourists and so on.
