Kaunas is the second largest city of Lithuania.
The most beautiful places which I like and recomend you to see here in Kaunas are:
Pazaislis Cloister, an Old Town, Laisves Avenue. |

A wonderful baroque architecture, a quit place and wonderful nature - visit Pazaislis Cloister Take a walk through a way to the Yacht Club and you'll find a nice view with lots of yachts sailing at the Kaunas sea, a restaurant 'Miesto Sodas' in the yacht club also a good rest for a whole day.
You can rent a boat for to sail in the Kaunas Sea
and to look around. |
| | An Old Town... Although an Old Town of Kaunas isn't very big, but it's always nice to take a walk around near the confluence of two biggest Lithuania's rivers the Nemunas and the Neris. Here you'll find:
Kaunas Castle, Seminary of Priests, a wonderful white Town Hall, Vytautas Church, the Cathedral etc. |
