This is a postcard of Oslo panorama I've bought during my first trip there.
My first trip to Oslo was in October of 2002. I've travelled there by bus from Copenhagen together with two my friends. It was just one day trip. So, you can imagine that it's too difficult to see and to experience a lot just for one day. We had a walking tour through the senter of Oslo by ourselves with maps in our hands:) It was a rainy and quite cold day then. And I should say that Olso center wasn't so big and beautiful as I've expected. But anyway I liked it. |
|  | We also visited Norges Hjemmefrontmuseum there. Wonderful castle at the wonderful place. Interesting Bus and Train Station with a wonderful statue of a tiger in front of it. Nice main street where you always come to while walking through the smallest streets. So, it seems that it's quite hard to get losted over there:)
My second trip there was on my way to As, a little city about 40 kilometres from Oslo in June of 2003.
Unfortunatelly during my two trips to Norway I wasn't able to see the fjords, but from the stories of my friends and wonderful pictures I know that it is a wonderful place definitelly worth a visit! |
The square and area in front of the Town Hall is a perfect place for to see wonderful views. Although it can be full of tourist sometimes, especially as there is a Tourist Information Office next to it. But even if you have just a few hours in Oslo it's a worth to go there.
