The Royal castle of Kronborg at Helsingor (Elsinore) has a symbolic value to the Danish people and played a key role in the history. It is world-renowned as Elsinore, the setting of Shakespeare's Hamlet. My visit to Kronborg Castle mainly was due the fact that it belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage Cities List. Denmark has many wonderful castles, but this is a gorgeous one with a great history. I definitely enjoyed my time there! |
